Privacy Policy

The short version is this: we want the test to work without turning you into a profile. Most of the important behavior lives in your browser, and the small amount of data that does leave your device is limited to what the site needs to stay usable and to understand whether people are actually finding it helpful.

What we process

  • Test answers and scoring: these are handled locally in your browser during the test flow.
  • Saved history: your browser may keep recent results or progress in local storage so you can revisit them later on the same device.
  • Leaderboard submissions: if you choose to submit, the server receives an anonymous SBTI type code for counting purposes.
  • Usage analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may collect aggregated information such as page views, clicks, scroll depth, and session patterns.

What we do not ask for

The site does not require an account. We do not ask for your full name, phone number, personal email address, or government ID just to take the test. We are also not trying to assemble a long-term dossier of every answer you gave. The leaderboard only needs anonymous type totals. Platform-level logs may still exist for security, hosting, and abuse prevention, but that is different from using your personality answers as personal identity data.

Cookies, local storage, and third-party tools

Your browser may store a small amount of site data so pages can remember language preference, result history, or unfinished progress. Analytics providers may also set their own identifiers to measure repeat visits and spot broken flows. Those tools help us answer basic product questions, like whether a page is confusing or whether people are bouncing before they get a result. They are not meant to publish your individual test history.

If you would rather remove that local data, you can clear site storage and cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may wipe saved progress or past results on your device, but it will not prevent you from taking the test again.

Contact

Questions about privacy, analytics, or leaderboard handling can be sent to contact@sbti-test.app. If something on the site appears to collect more than this policy describes, that is the kind of report we want to hear about.
